Product Description

Mangiferic acid is an organic compound, slightly soluble in ethanol, ether, almost insoluble in chloroform, benzene. By affecting the metabolism of arachidonic acid, mangiferolic acid inhibits platelet aggregation, inhibits the formation of arterial and venous thrombosis and cerebral thrombosis, has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and can be used as an intermediate in antiviral and anticancer drugs.

Serratia angustifolia (SA) is a hydrogenated aromatic natural product used as a chiral precursor of oseltamivir in the organically synthesised antiviral drug Tamiflu. Their industrial application is limited by the lack of industrial-scale fermentation trials and the need for growth limiting factors, antibiotics and inducers. Therefore, the development of SA biosensors and dynamic molecular switches, as well as genetically modified strategies and fermentation process opximisation based on histological techniques, could improve the performance of SA-producing strains.

Features

High purity

Mangiferolic acid can be obtained in high purity through natural extraction and fine manufacturing processes. High purity means higher bioavailability and fewer adverse reactions.

Safety

Mangiferolic acid is a natural product that has been shown to be safe for humans. It does not produce toxic side effects in the dose range.

Stability

Mangiferolic acid has good stability and maintains its activity and effect under different environmental and storage conditions.

Easily absorbed

Mangiferolic acid is rapidly absorbed by the body and passes through the intestinal tract into the blood circulation, where it is distributed to different tissues and organs.

Applications

1. antimicrobial and antitumour effects, it was reported in 1987 that Japanese scholars found that a compound of mangiferolic acid had obvious inhibitory effects on HeLacells and Ehily ascites carcinomas, and it could prolong the survival time of mice inoculated with leukaemia cells L1210 with low toxicity, and it was clearly pointed out that this inhibitory effect was mainly due to the reaction between this mangiferolic acid compound and sulphur hydroxide....

2. Another compound has no antagonistic effect on leukaemia cell L1210, but has some antagonistic effect on Serratia marcescens. 1988, Sun Kai-lin et al. carried out preliminary in vitro antimicrobial and antitumour experiments on a synthetic derivative of mangiferolic acid, and proved that the compound had an inhibitory effect on leukaemia cell L1210 in vitro, similar to that of dimethylamycin.

In terms of cardiovascular system, mangiferic acid and its derivatives triacetyl mangiferic acid and isopropylidene mangiferic acid have antithrombotic and platelet aggregation inhibiting effects on cardiovascular system.

3. Anti-cerebral ischaemia

Mangiferolic acid and its derivatives have the effect of improving cerebral ischemia, which is mainly manifested in reducing the volume of cerebral infarction after focal cerebral ischemia in rats, lowering the neurological function scores, reducing the degree of cerebral oedema, and increasing the cerebral blood flow in ischemic areas and other indexes. Some studies have proved that its derivatives can reduce the degree of erythrocyte aggregation and inhibit platelet aggregation after cerebral ischemia, thus promoting cerebral microcirculation.
